No charge to visit on weekdays. Visit the pumpkin patch, enjoy photo ops, barnyard animals, a hay mountain and picnic areas. On weekends there will be a hayride, at an extra charge.
Pumpkin prices vary. This 4th generation family farm grows over different types of pumpkins, including heirloom varieties.
Tractor-pulled wagon rides include a pumpkin from the patch. There are also playground, tire mountains, a wooden maze, educational exhibits and a corn crib. In addition they sell mountain apples and a large variety of homegrown cooking pumpkins and fall squash. Admission is free. Just pay for your activities.
Most activities are free for ages 2 and under. Pumpkins are 40 cents a pound. They grow several varieties of pumpkins and gourds. There are 4 large wagons that go to and from the fields on the weekends, so you can stay as long as you want. The farm also has a large farm-theme playground and more.
Kid-friendly fall fun at Carowinds. Games, activities, costume contests, dance parties and more throughout the park. Weekdays starting September 14th. Night mazes starting in October. Weekday ticket must be pre-purchased t least 24 hours in advance.
Weekend tickets can be purchased on site. Corn Maze, Cow train, and more, such as: apple launcher, corn cannons, hayride, zipline for kids, rubber duck races, corny corn crib, kiddie korral, hay jump, shooting gallery, tethered corn ball, barn of cornfusion, checkers, jumping pillow.
Also, a haunted maze on weekends. Thursday to Sunday. Pumpkins for purchase. Pick your own pumpkin and enjoy a wagon ride, barrel train, zip line, and more. Reservations are required in advance. There will also be a sunn hemp maze, but it will not reach its full height until October. Sunny Oaks is a small, family-owned farm that grows pumpkins, gourds and flowers. Besides shopping for farm products, and picking a pumpkin, families enjoy the petting zoo, pumpkin decorating, straw mountain, and many other activities.
There will be face painting October 2nd and 16th. Price varies by activity. And Pumpkin picking will take place all October, weather permitting. Take a hayride to the pumpkin patch and pick your own pumpkin. There will also be a market with other fall pumpkin and gourd options.
