Winters are cold; stay dry in the occasional snowstorm with a cabin or yurt rental. Spring weather is unpredictable, but if you bring warm rain gear, you can camp comfortably. We have a zero-tolerance policy against discrimination at Hipcamp and are committed to helping our Host and Hipcamper community be inclusive.

All Hosts should review and adhere to these standards around providing a positive Hipcamp experience, being a thoughtful neighbor, and serving as a responsible citizen. We integrate with the National Weather Service to provide valuable fire advisories to Hosts and Hipcampers.

Looking for daily inspiration and ideas for things to do with kids this week? From at-home family fun, to festivities…. Each camp uses technology in a fun and innovative way. To find out more details about what kids learn and do in each camp just click the image. Some camps run during the morning 9 am — 12 pm , some run in the afternoon 1 pm — 4 pm.

If your child would like to come for a full day 9 am — 4 pm , all you have to do is register them for a morning and an afternoon camp. We allow full-day summer campers to stay over the lunch hour for free. Just send a packed lunch with your child and our instructors will make sure they are well cared for and ensure they get to their afternoon camp. Registration for summer camps is now open.

Each class has only 12 available spaces. We partner with Block Clubs and community members already hard at work improving our neighborhood. Community members can submit applications for improvements on their house such as painting and basic home repairs. These applications are matched with volunteer groups whose skills fit the project. Camp Restore Detroit cannot provide funds or materials for these projects.

Camp Restore Detroit partners with our community to host events and classes for our neighborhood! These events are planned and led by community members.
