Our program offers youth, who have previously quit school, the opportunity to complete their education by earning a high school diploma or GED. Students enrolled in our YouthBuild program also receive workforce training and professional certifications in either construction or computer technology.
When not engaged in academic classes, our students work on projects that help them acquire valuable work skills that lead to future employment, while simultaneously benefiting their community. Some students learn how to repair or renovate houses for low-income families, while other students choose to learn technology skills including how to refurbish computers for economically disadvantaged families.
Today, our YouthBuild graduates are employed in various jobs throughout San Diego County and are happily earning paychecks to support themselves and their families. Funded in full by the U.
